Superstorm Sandy Victims Move Into New Home At Whispering Meadows
JACKSON, NJ – David and Lynda Pagan were forced to move after Superstorm Sandy destroyed their beachfront home on Staten Island. Ready to make a fresh start, the couple purchased a new home at Whispering Meadows in Jackson, an award-winning Paramount Homes community. David and Lynda purchased their new home after researching new construction homes throughout New Jersey both on the Internet and by visiting well over 20 different homes throughout New Jersey in new home developments built by a variety of builders. The couple chose a 4-bedroom, 2½-bath Oxford Phase II model home set on a sprawling home site with distinguished mature trees and a lush natural environment. “We just fell in love with the front porch and old country look, which is even more beautiful with the side entry garage,” David said. “We also love the amount of outdoor space that comes with each home.”
David and Lynda moved into their new home at Whispering Meadows this January, and are already enjoying their new lifestyle. “We adore the ‘country-like’ atmosphere that is far from all the traffic, but close enough to reach all major stores in just a few minutes,” David added.
Although the couple initially chose the home because of its expansive front porch, they ultimately fell in love with a different feature. “The greatest feature of our home is the extravagant gourmet kitchen that my wife customized at the Design Center,” David said. “Our owner’s retreat that we built in our master bedroom comes in at a close second.”
In terms of amenities, the couple raves about their two-story entry foyer, as well as the family room fireplace. “As we walk into our home, the two-story foyer seems to complete the elegance that comes with the rest of our home,” David said. “The fireplace adds the finishing touch to an already beautiful family room complete with high hats, plush rugs and two full size windows on either side of the fireplace.”
