BARNEGAT, NJ – After growing up together in Staten Island, sisters Marilyn and Barbara have been inseparable. From New York to the Carolinas, they’ve always ended up close to one another. But after spending the last five years sharing a home down south, Marilyn and Barbara yearned for something more. That’s when they decided to move back to the New Jersey area. “We looked around at other communities for quite a while, but they were all just ordinary,” Barbara and Marilyn agreed. “At Escapes, the homes and the community are designed beautifully and the people here are very nice. Also, with the help of Deb in the Sales Office, we were able to build two new homes right next to each other. It was meant to be.”

Barbara and her husband, Bill, selected the single-level, two-bedroom, two-bathroom Valencia home design. “We opted for an extended great room,” Barbara said. “With the extension, the home has about 2,349 sq. ft. of space, which is perfect for when my two daughters visit.”

Marilyn selected the single-level, two-bedroom, two-bathroom Andalucia model. The home is perfect for entertaining with its magnificent great room and optional sunroom or covered porch. The sisters just completed their second walk-throughs and are expected to move in to their new homes by late Spring.
